The Spina Bifida Association of Greater Rochester held it's annual Valentine's Day Pizza & Pool Party on February 10th at the Perinton Community/Aquatic Center. All those who attended, braved a frigid winter's day in search of good food, good friends and a dip in the massive community center pool. The event was kicked off with a warm welcome from chapter president Amy Faes, and the attention quickly turned to a wide array of pizza, salad and homemade goodies. After waiting the standard 30 minutes for our food to digest, it was time to hit the pool. Kids and adults alike had a great time on the two-story slide, Jacuzzi, lazy river and the fun children's pool. Once the swimming was over, it was back upstairs for karaoke, where we were serenaded by renditions of Faith Hill songs and such hits as Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star. A lot of fun was had by all and a big round of thanks are in order to everyone that helped pull this event together.
